Reason for robot army

i'd have to say the reason a robot takeover would happen is one day a really lonely guy decided to make his own girlfriend and built himself an android with an A.I. chip. After a couple years of a happy relationship the guy cheats on his fake girlfriend, she gets mad, and then builds a robot army to wipe out mankind.

Umm we would just be screwed right? I mean if the robot chick gets pissed can't do much unless it's able to be killed.
